Do you have a problem horse and are unsure what to do about it? We can help you find the problem and work with you to sort it out.

Jackie Kemp has spent most of her life around horses and has a great deal of competition experience.

From her early days running a hunt stables, she gradually worked her way up, setting up her own riding school in Ayrshire, and then finally settling here at Wester Deanhead.

Jackie is a BHS assessor for NVQs and SVQs, and has studied equine behaviour.

Jackie uses her skills and experience to really get to the root cause of your horse’s problems and can help you and your horse have a happier relationship. Through positive reinforcement and addressing your horse’s basic needs anything is possible!

As Jackie says: “By putting ourselves in the horse’s place, understanding evolutionary and natural behaviour, and ‘reading’ what they’re asking of us, we can recognise what makes a horse uncomfortable or distressed and work towards solving the problem(s) by developing their feelings of security and addressing their needs from an equine behaviour perspective”.
