	Floodlit Olympic Outdoor School


	We can proudly boast of our 200 x 110 foot floodlit arena. This has been built to the highest specification and can be used all year round. The floodlights and ample drainage mean that even when the wettest seasons and darkest of nights set in you can still work your horse! Regular harrowing and rolling ensure that the surface is kept in top condition.

Lodden Stables

We have 36 Lodden stables each measuring 10 x 10 feet. They are all well ventilated and set within a barn system with adequate lighting. Each stable has an automatic drinking system and optional hayracks.

Cross Country Course

We have had a small selection of cross-country fences and obstacles built across our land for the Le Trec competition, and are currently designing more to be built in 2007. Everyone at the stables has access to these, and cross-country lessons are also available on request.

The Tack Shop

At Wester Deanhead we can also help you and your horse look good and feel right with the correct gear. Our staff will be more than happy to advise you with any queries you may have about new equipment and how best to use it.

The Tack Shop can supply all the items you and your horse require - and what we do not have on the shelves can easily be ordered for you.

We also provide a personalised stitching service for jackets and saddle pads to give that extra special touch.

Gift vouchers are available for The Tack Shop and make an ideal Christmas or birthday present for the horse lover in your family!

The Country Byre

Refreshments are available at our café “The Country Byre” which will supply you with any hot or cold beverage and a selection of hot snacks and some good old fashioned cooking.
